Mr. Bell specializes in the disposition of income-producing real estate, the placement of debt, joint ventures, investment land dispositions, and real estate advisory services. In addition to his capital markets focus, Mr. Bell’s background also includes banking and appraisal. Marketing assignments encompass $3.0 billion.
Mr. Bell has achieved a broad real estate background encompassing 20 years of continuous experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining DTZ Rockwood, Mr. Bell was a Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield, with a focus on investment sales, during which time Mr. Bell transacted some of the region’s most prominent sale transactions. Mr. Bell has also provided consulting and valuation services for a wide variety of institutional clients, insurance companies, pension funds and money center banks. Valuation experience includes office towers, apartments, shopping centers, regional malls, hotels, ACLFs and industrial parks.
Initially, Mr. Bell’s career began as a corporate lending professional for SunBank in 1985, and transitioned to commercial appraisal for Failla & Associates in 1986, and thereafter with Chastain Appraisal in 1987. He joined Cushman & Wakefield’s valuation group in 1989, and was the top producer in both 1992 and 1994. In 2004, Mr. Bell headed the Trammell Crow Company South Florida Investment Sales Department. In 2006, Mr. Bell was Trammell Crow Company's top investment sales producer.
As a member of the Capital Markets Group, Mr. Bell has concentrated on office, apartment, industrial and retail properties. A graduate of Florida State University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Mr. Bell’s professional credentials include the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, he is a licensed state-certified real estate appraiser, and a licensed Florida mortgage broker.
Mr. Bell has been awarded, as a co-recipient, the 1999 and 2001 Cushman and Wakefield Client Service Award for South Florida. Mr. Bell was C&W’s top producer for the State of Florida in 2002, and achieved the prestigious top 100 broker status nationally in 2001 and 2002. Other honors include the 2001 Ernst and Young/South Florida Business Journal Deal of the Year (the Colonnade), and the 2002 NAIOP Deal of the Year Award (Cambridge Executive Center I&II). Mr. Bell was recognized by the Daily Business Review as transacting the largest South Florida industrial deal, involving the Quorum Business Park, in 2005. He was the top producer for the State of Florida in 2005, and a top 5 producer nationally for Trammell Crow Company in 2005. |

Bill Clarkson

William A. Clarkson is an Associate Financial Analyst with DTZ Rockwood. He is responsible for supporting all functions of the Capital Markets Group including the production of offering memorandums, property valuation, market research, project marketing, and debt placement.
Prior to joining DTZ Rockwood, Mr. Clarkson was a Financial Analyst with First Potomac Realty Trust in Washington, DC where he focused on portfolio management, capital raising, joint ventures and dispositions. Before First Potomac, Mr. Clarkson was a Market Analyst with Cassidy and Pinkard Colliers and provided analytical support for both the Capital Markets and Agency Leasing groups.
Mr. Clarkson holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Roanoke College and was a recipient of the Outstanding Student in Finance Award. He is a licensed Real Estate Sales Associate in the State of Maryland and the State of Virginia.
